Yes. Fire door certification is voided by penetrations, not by surface-mounted items. Our numbers attach with adhesive only, so the door face is never drilled, screwed or pierced.

Each number comes with foam backing tape with a permanent acrylic adhesive, cut to the shape of the number and pre-applied so it sits invisibly behind the number. It holds many times the weight of the number. Applied to a clean, smooth surface and pressed on firmly, it's a permanent bond.
Yes, deliberately and without damage: warm the number gently, ease it off, and clean any residue with adhesive remover. What it won't do is fall off on its own or succumb to a bored teenager picking at it.
Brushed brass has a soft satin grain: understated, hides fingerprints, suits most corridors. Polished brass is hand-finished to a bright lustre for maximum impact in foyers and boutique settings. Brass is a living material and will develop character over time; ask us about sealing options when you request your quote.

Brass will naturally dull over time, depending on exposure to the environment. If you would like to keep it shiny, we recommend polishing with Autosol 75ml Chrome And Metal Polish.
