Warranty

Warranty

Peninsula House Numbers products are made from architectural-grade aluminium and finished by Dulux Accredited Powder Coaters. Our numbers and letters are designed to withstand Australian conditions, including UV exposure, temperature change, and atmospheric pollutants.

Our 25-year guarantee

When properly installed and maintained, we warrant that our house numbers and letters will be free from corrosion and from powder coat defects, including peeling, flaking, and blistering, for 25 years from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers the powder-coated aluminium numbers and letters, for normal residential use. It excludes damage from impact, abrasive or harsh cleaning, modification, or installation that does not follow our guidelines.

Fixings (rods and spacers)

Your fixings are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and are warranted against structural failure when properly installed. In coastal and marine areas, stainless steel can develop light surface discolouration known as tea-staining. This is a normal cosmetic effect rather than a fault in the material, and it lifts with routine cleaning, so surface discolouration of fixings is not covered as a defect.

Caring for your numbers

A rinse with fresh water and a wipe with a soft cloth a few times a year is all that is needed. If you live near the coast, rinse more often to clear salt build-up, particularly on the fixings. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh or solvent-based cleaners.

Making a claim

If a covered defect occurs, we will repair or replace the affected product at no charge. Claims require proof of purchase and photographs of the issue. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser for residential installations.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude or limit them.
