Trade Terms of Supply
Version 1. Last updated: 13 October 2026
Peninsula House Numbers (ABN 94 497 289 449), PO Box 287, Mount Eliza VIC 3930 ("we", "us").
1. Application
These terms apply to trade and commercial orders quoted by us, together with our Terms of Sale. If they conflict, these terms apply. They apply instead of any terms in your purchase order or other documents unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Quotes and acceptance
Quotes are valid for 30 days. You accept a quote, and these terms, by approving it in writing or paying a deposit or invoice.
3. Artwork and specifications
We'll provide a proof or schedule for approval where relevant. You are responsible for checking text, fonts, sizes, finishes, quantities and any door or unit schedule. We manufacture to the approved specification, and changes after approval may incur additional costs.
4. Price and payment
Prices exclude GST unless stated. Unless your quote says otherwise, payment in full is required before production; for larger orders we may instead require a deposit before production and the balance before dispatch. Ownership of the goods passes to you when we receive payment in full.
5. Lead times and delivery
Lead times are estimates only. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from delay, including liquidated damages, site costs or delay costs under any contract between you and a third party. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please inspect the goods on arrival and tell us about any damage or shortage within 7 days of delivery. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Installation
We supply products only. We do not install, inspect sites, or assess the suitability of any wall, substrate or location. You must make sure the products are installed by a qualified and competent installer engaged by you, using fixings and adhesives suitable for the substrate, the size and weight of the products, the installation height and the site's exposure, in accordance with our installation instructions and all applicable laws, building codes, standards and site safety requirements. For installations above head height or over public areas, your installer is responsible for confirming that the fixing method is suitable.
7. No design, engineering or certification services
Any guidance we give is general product information. We do not provide engineering, structural, fire-safety or compliance advice or certification for any building or site. You are responsible for obtaining any such advice or approval required for your project.
8. Warranty
Our product guarantee is set out on our Warranty page. To the extent permitted by law, any guarantee we give covers repair or replacement of the product only, and does not cover removal, reinstallation, access equipment (such as scaffolds or elevated work platforms) or labour.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Limitation of liability
Subject to clause 9 and to the extent permitted by law:
(a) we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or opportunity;
(b) where the law permits us to limit our liability for goods not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability is limited, at our option, to replacing or repairing the goods or paying the cost of doing so; and
(c) our liability is reduced to the extent any loss is caused or contributed to by you, your installer or any other third party.
11. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims by third parties to the extent they arise from installation, choice of fixings or substrate, modification, maintenance or misuse of the products by you, your installer or anyone else engaged by you.
12. Cancellation and returns
Products are made to order. If you cancel after production has started, you must pay for work completed and materials ordered to that point. Change-of-mind returns aren't available on custom products.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria. Variations must be agreed in writing. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
