Marine-grade 316 stainless steel, 3mm solid, water-jet cut for clean square edges with no melt or discolouration. Cooler and more contemporary in tone than brass, and considerably more stable.
316 is the grade specified for coastal and humid environments. Unlike brass it will not patina, mellow or need polishing to stay looking the way it did on handover day, which makes it the low-maintenance choice for buildings where nobody is going to be maintaining anything.
Two finishes. Brushed stainless has a soft satin grain, understated and architectural, and it hides fingerprints well in high-traffic corridors. Polished stainless is hand-finished to a bright lustre for lobbies and feature walls.
Sizes and fonts
Heights of 50, 75 and 100mm, in any of our five fonts: Flinders, Rosebud, Merricks, Somers and Portsea.
Installation
Each number ships with black foam backing tape, a permanent acrylic adhesive cut to the shape of the number and pre-applied so it is invisible once mounted. Peel, position, press. No drilling, no glue, and nothing that penetrates the door face, so fire door certification is unaffected. Add a reusable snap-lock template to keep the position identical across every door in the building.
Ordering
Quoted per project off your door schedule, with volume pricing on larger orders. Minimum order $500. Allow three weeks from artwork approval to dispatch. Upload your apartment list and we will count the digits and price the whole building at once.
