New product - Apartment & Hotel Door Numbers

All of our products at Peninsula House Numbers are custom made here in Australia, and one of the most common requests we receive is for numbers to suit apartment and hotel doors. The off the shelf options tend to be thin stickers or plastic discs that look like an afterthought, while the fully custom route usually means a signage company, a site visit and a hefty install bill.

Our new apartment & hotel door number range sits right in between: premium custom numbers, cut to your choice of font and size, priced to work across a whole building, with a commercial grade peel and stick install that building managers regularly do themselves.

Three materials, one look

Choose value Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) for big door counts, or solid brass and 316 stainless steel when the building aesthetic calls for real metal:

• 3mm ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) - from $11 per number. A real aluminium face in Matt Black, Matt White or Brushed Silver. Looks sharp and keeps the per-door cost down on larger projects.
• 3mm solid brass - from $23 per number. Water-jet cut from solid metal in brushed or polished finishes. Warm and golden, with the weight and presence to match.
• 3mm solid 316 stainless steel - from $23 per number. All the weight of solid metal in a cooler, more contemporary tone, water-jet cut in brushed or polished finishes. Unlike brass it won't tarnish or develop a patina, so upkeep is an occasional wipe rather than metal polish, and the marine grade makes it the pick for buildings near the coast.

All three come in heights of 50mm, 75mm and 100mm, and in any of our five fonts:

Peel and stick installation

Every number ships with foam backing tape pre-applied, cut to the exact shape of the number so it sits invisibly behind it. Installing is simply peel, position and press. No drilling, no screws, and no trades required.

That's especially good news for fire doors. Fire door certification is voided by penetrations, not by surface mounted items, so adhesive-only numbers leave the door face untouched and the body corporate happy. The same backing bonds to metal letterbox faces too, and the 50mm size suits apartment letterbox banks perfectly.

For larger buildings, our reusable snap-lock installation template ($120 per set) is made to your exact font and height. Hold it on the door, press the numbers into the guide, lift it away and move on to the next door. It makes fitting out a corridor about a one minute job per door, with an identical result on every level.

Ordering numbers for a whole building used to mean counting digits in a spreadsheet, so we've built a calculator that does it for you.
